Photos from a 2010 visit to the Lost Dutchman State Park near Phoenix, Arizona. I was told that this particular spring (I was there in April) had more rainfall than usual, so there were many more wildflowers in bloom than they normally have. It was indeed very pretty there. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the desert. I had expected not to like it very well, coming from the Midwest where everything is normally very green and lush.
